We're an independent van hire company based in Huncoat, Accrington. No call centres, no scripts, no hidden extras at the counter. Just a well-kept fleet and people who pick up the phone.
Our story
Built for people who need a van, not a headache
Hiring a van should be the easy part of the day. Too often it isn't. Prices that change between the website and the counter. Vehicles that turn up dirty or on the wrong tyres. A phone number that rings out when something goes wrong at eight o'clock on a Saturday morning.
We started Hyndburn Van Hire because we thought East Lancashire deserved better than that.
Today we hire vans to tradespeople, businesses and families right across Hyndburn and the surrounding towns. Some of our customers are on the road with us every week. Some hire one van, once, to move a flat. We treat both the same way.

Four things we won't compromise on
Straight pricing
The price you see is the price you pay. Insurance, RAC breakdown cover, unlimited mileage and VAT are all in it. We'll tell you about anything that could cost extra before you book, not after you've returned the van.
Vans that are ready to work
Every vehicle is valeted, serviced and safety-checked between hires, and we walk round it with you before you drive away. If something isn't right, we'd rather find it on the forecourt than have you find it on the M65.
A real phone number
Call us and you'll get someone in Accrington who knows which vans are on the yard. If you'd rather message, we're on WhatsApp. Either way you're talking to the people who'll be handing you the keys.
Local knowledge
We know the roads, the routes and the awkward bits. If you're not sure which van you need or how long the job will take, ask. We've probably done it before.

Check live availability and prices online, or call us and we'll do it for you. You'll know exactly what you're paying before you commit.

Collect or we deliver
Pick the van up from Enfield Road, or ask about delivery — we can bring it to you across Hyndburn and around, subject to driver availability.

Bring it back
Same fuel level, same condition, and we'll check it in with you. Your pre-authorisation is released and that's that.

A medium Maxus Deliver 7 built for urban agility and multi-drop work, and a heavy-duty Maxus Deliver 9 for whole-house moves and container loads. Plus a driver, if you'd rather not do the lifting.
Who we hire to
Trades, businesses and families
If it's too big for the car, we've almost certainly got something that fits.
- Tradespeople and contractors — cover for a vehicle off the road, or extra capacity for a bigger job. Weekly and monthly rates available.
- Businesses — short-term fleet cover, seasonal peaks and one-off deliveries. Ask about a business account.
- House moves — the large Deliver 9, weekend rates that run Friday to Monday for the price of two days, and a driver if you'd rather not do the lifting.
- Anyone with something too big for the car — a sofa, a garden project, a tip run.
